Founded in 1992, the ZRK Group stands as a prominent family-owned enterprise specializing in the manufacturing of MDF (Medium-Density Fiberboard), particleboard, laminated boards and door skins. This remarkable journey commenced under the visionary leadership of Mr. Zahid Rahim Khan, who took charge by acquiring the management of a modest veneering plant named 'Khyber Wood Processing Company,' located in the vibrant city of Peshawar, Pakistan. As the journey unfolded, significant milestones were reached. In 1997, the company ventured into a new phase by establishing 'The Peshawar Particleboard Industries (Pvt.) Ltd.' This marked a pivotal moment, and further growth followed. In 2002, the organization elevated its capabilities by installing a paper impregnation line, enabling the production of value-added products.

A monumental stride was achieved in 2008 with the inauguration of a state-of-the-art MDF Manufacturing plant, solidifying the company's position as an industry leader. The commitment to technological advancement and innovation remained unwavering. In 2012, the company replaced its older particleboard plant with a new, cutting-edge facility, signaling a dynamic shift in operations. In 2014, a chemical plant was introduced, paving the way for the manufacture of 'E1 – European Emission Standard' MDF products, setting new standards for environmental responsibility.

The company embarked on its path of progress with a lean team of just six dedicated individuals, spearheaded by Mr. Zahid Rahim Khan himself, serving as the stalwart Group Managing Director. This nucleus of talent laid the foundation for what would eventually evolve into a saga of success.
