Deputy General Manager – Stores
Mardan (Factory)
Own the plant's stores — the spares, raw materials and consumables that stand between a running line and a stopped one.
THE ROLE
Key Responsibilities
- Own inventory control for raw materials, spares, chemicals, and consumables across the plant
- Set and maintain reorder levels, safety stock, and critical-spares lists with Maintenance and Production
- Govern receiving, inspection, storage, issuance, and returns with full documentation
- Run cycle counts and annual physical stock-takes, and reconcile variances
- Maintain accurate stock records in the ERP and report on inventory value and ageing
- Work with Procurement on lead times, vendor performance, and stock-out prevention
- Enforce safe and compliant storage of chemicals and flammable materials
- Lead and develop the stores team across shifts
ABOUT YOU
What We're Looking For
- 10–12 years in stores, inventory, or materials management in a manufacturing plant
- Strong ERP/inventory-system discipline and command of stock documentation
- Track record reducing stock-outs and carrying cost at the same time
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field
